While the majority of the people of Mexico are hard working and law abiding, the steady influx to America of those in their society that are willing to commit crimes has caused the Mexican people to be judged on the basis of these criminals. Over 15% of the murders committed in the United States are committed by illegal aliens. Illegal aliens continue to break the law on a regular basis. As these criminals are what the American people see, they have come to the conclusion that all Mexicans behave like this.
Is it not time to allow the average Mexican a chance to make a few dollars in America and then go home, while sending the criminals home for their own government to deal with.

Illegal Immigration is making the LEGAL immigrants look bad. Everyone should fight illegal immigration and encourage legal immigration. Even if that means making legal immigration a little easier, and being WAY harder on illegal immigrants.

There was racism before all the illegals got to the U.S. and there will be racism after. Anybody that isn't white will be exposed to racism in some sort of way in their life time. Just look at some comments/answers on here and you'll see that racism is there. There will always be hatred against the minorities in this nation regardless of immigration problems or not.

I don't care if it's Mother Theresa, back from the dead, let's have LEGAL immigration ONLY. If they can get that fence built, that'll squash a lot of it.

I think you're right in your appraisal, I think the majority of people coming north have honorable intentions. But, immigration still is an issue, 200 million poor people with honorable intentions still represents stacking more debt on this country.

I'm for legal immigration, and against illegal immigration.

I think it's time for Mexico to have those reforms they keep talking about, so their citizens don't have to leave their own country to make money. Get the fence built, stop the crime, and Mexico's economy will come up with more people getting into small business etc there. Get the crime stopped, and more people will want to visit Mexico and spend money there etc. But, first, gotta fix Mexico. I'd like to see that fence started, myself.

The issue here is not about race or being racist, is about an invasion of this people coming from Mexico in the millions. The problem is economically, that all and we the American working men and women of our country are suffering for this.. If the Mexicans are so hard working people why is it that their country is so dirty and wasted. You could see the different between the USA and Mexico, don't you? Where are you that you don't see it..Are you still in Mexico..

Is illegal immigration causing racial hatred in the U.S.A.?
No, racist's cause racism. However I think many of the illegals come here without prejudice and a rather naive attitude to the many racist views held by so many in my country. After having dealt with racist Americans I think that perhaps it does contribute to an expanding base of racist's on the immigrant side as well. As long as the illegal employer can replace you with cheaper imported labor. Or by sending our jobs out of the country, we will have this problem. The immigrants are victims as is the American worker. As long as you continue to voice so much concern against victims, and none toward the perpetrators, this situation will never be resolved.

from my point of view it became racist when the protests began all the waving of the Mexican flags the incident of putting a Mexican flag over a upside down American flag demanding rights for people here illegally not one American flag was shone on that first day and to make it worse the Hispanic population turned on America and supported this behaviour i would think that the Hispanic Americans would be Americans and support their country by being as angry as the rest of us at those actions

Yes it is. Mainly white Americans against illegal immigrant from Mexico and Central America. Most company owners love them because they usually work very hard for less money. But many American employees looking for lower end jobs sometimes don't like them. I don't have a problem with them. They are great people if you meet them. I am a LEGAL immigrant from Argentina in the US and talk to them all the time and kind of feel sorry for them sometimes too because they don't come here for bad. They come to try to have a better life and help their families out. And they usually have a lot of kids so it's very hard for them to support their family with their low pay checks.
I think they should be respected.

Where is the racial hatred? Do you actually believe crimes are committed by illegal Mexicans? I didn't know that illegal immigrants in the US are all Mexicans!

Why do we need to give "the average Mexican a chance to make a few dollars in America"?!? They need to make money IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY! That's the problem- they'll risk life and limb to come here illegally, but won't get off their duff to improve their country. By the way, ALL ILLEGALS ARE CRIMINALS, in case anyone was wondering...
