It states : if you shot an arrow at a tree, it would have to travel half the distance before hitting the tree, then half the distance from there, and so on; and so on - and since the distance can always be cut in half, the arrow can never reach the tree.
Now I know that the answer to this question lies in the fact that for an arrow to travel the distance without ever reaching the target it must also decrease in size by half for for this to hold sway; however our searching for god remains the same - does that mean that we believe in god less and less until we "hit the target"?

and at that point, do we have to become god just to commune with him or her?

Eventually it would travel both halves.

If you were a knower and not an intelligent seeker afraid to risk losing control then you would not think this is in anyway close ot the path to God. U can be a knower I am pretty sure I told you how, and since the process if false, or not in some way genuine, if followed correctly has no potential for danger, and yet you are still afraid to do it then you have to know there in lies the poaradox. you want to know, you have a map, the distance is not far and yet you will not take the jump. danger danger can u b an airborn ranger, you've got your chute, many b4 u jumped and say the ride is fantastic, you know where the rip cord is and you stand in the plan hatch and say "Is this like Zeno's paradox, will I ever hit the ground??"

ya GOD duh jump dude, thats what makes it a great ride

to know know know you is to love love love you and I do and I do and I do love Jesus

Huh? Why would the arrow have to shrink? Where did you get that from? The point is all that matters not the rest of the arrow. A point is one dimensional. Points have no size. All the arrow would have to do is decelerate.

And no. I disagree with your assumption that this paradox parallels our relationship with our belief in God.

You said, "does that mean that we believe in god less and less until we "hit the target"?"

Absolutely NOT! In fact, we believe in God more and more the closer we get to Him. In order for your sentence to be correct, we would have to completely disbelieve in God before we could "hit the target." Since Atheists don't commune with God, I'd say that this isn't the case.

And to say that we will become God is just sacrilege. I won't say anything more than that since you are just ignorant. But know that we commune with Him now. He hears us in our prayers today and He communicates with us too in various ways. But one day we will commune with Him (NOT HER!) completely.

Our cutting-edge understanding of quantuum concept has many stange consequences that defy commonsense. i do ask your self no count if there could be something we are lacking which will make all those epicycles upon epicycles remodel into an ellipse. yet on the different hand, lots of those unusual consequences seem nicely -examined. possibly we merely ought to settle for that certainty is weird and wonderful. For astronomy, if we detect dark count or a pragmatic use for its 11 dimensions the universe might seem extremely different. for astrobiology, the main important question for us is aliens... no count if we be taught that there are some, or be taught that there 1are none (or a minimum of no longer something close). the two innovations are frightening, yet i don't comprehend it somewhat is scariest.

This presupposes a quest for God which is linear in nature. No justification/explanation is offered for this. The framing of the question is often very much determinative of the answer. Seek God within the plants.

If there is a God, and surely there isn't, then we have become not equal with it, but far Superior to it.

Prime mover arguments cold get deeper though.
