You may be in the wrong church, mine still preachs about his evil ways. He is as real now as ever. Speak to your pastor about how you feel, we don't sugar coat anything.

You are right.
satan is real
demons are real
God is real
Jesus is real
We are in a spiritual battle. We know who is victorious, and until Jesus returns this is what we need to remember - the enemy - satan has methods and schemes.
Galatians 6:10-12
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers
against the world forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Thanks be to Jesus our Lord and Savior, He shed His precious blood on the cross to save us from an eternity of hell.
We live in an age where the gospel is watered down more and more. The churches are preaching "Christianity Light" and deceiving many...God knows this and will judge righteously.
If you are reading this and are hearing a watered down version of the bible, run to the Word and stick with it. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life and only the truth will set you free.

God believes in the devil. because it was God who banished Lucifer (the fallen angel) to hell. For every good, there has to be a bad. Remember Yin and Yang, black and white, good and evil. There has to be an equal balance. neither will totally negate the other. Whatever good happens, there will always be an evil presence, so the circle will never be broken, no matter how we may try. It is deeply rooted in man's beliefs, whether we be Godfearing or atheist. Have a look at the link and discover for yourself.

I think by placing the blame on the devil for the evil done on this earth is a scapegoat. Shall we say the atrocities committed by the Nazi's where act's of the devil? Religion is not necessarily the answer to resolving evil in this world for many of the worst contenders are the allegedly devout and do so for the sake of their G-D. I believe in the devil, which in actuality to me is the dark side of human behavior. Once we accept the acts we as humans commit and are responsible for our own actions then we can actually try to help make the world a little less evil.

I don't know what church you go to, but ours certainly does preach that Satan is here and doing his will upon many on earth. It's sad that so very many can be led into the depths of hell by convincing them there is no God, and so very many believe this. God is real and so is Satan. I choose God Almighty and Jesus and God's Holy Spirit. Those who decide not to choose or believe, have chosen Satan and they don't even know it.

OK, here is a response from a "non-believer", no he's about as real as the flying spaghetti monster, and as for looking at all the vile stuff that goes on... theres no point blaming it on some invisible bully, as humans we have this love of scapegoating, its not satan, its us. When we do bad things its not satan tempting us, its us. We need to be responsible for our own actions.

true, true, true. Churches these days have stopped teaching about Satan because no one wants to hear about it. Most churches just want to attract people for the money and fame that they might gain from them or they don't preach about him so that they won't affend people like that the dykes, prostitues, whores, lyiars, and ect.. They don't attract them for the glory of God. Anyways to ur ? yes i believe Satan is alive and wants to perscute the followers of Christ. But He doesn't want people to know he's alive so he decives them into thinking he just a mythical figure and wouldn't harm them. But the truth is that he's been the cause of their trouble and misery from the begining.

Until God makes the changes that He is going to make when He rids this world of all of its' evil, including the devil, good cannot exist without the presence of evil. And that includes the devil.
Unfortunately today the churches are walking on egg shells and trying not to upset their members with God's truth, and side stepping those things that cause them to loose membership, due to the truth hurting their members.
If they cannot accept the entire word of God, then they do not accept God at all.

No, I do not believe in Satan or the Devil. It is one of the reasons that I gave up religion. And as far as I'm concerned, there was far too much concentration on the devil and evil in years past. Thanks to enlightenment, most people are more sane now. The days of screaming witchcraft and demon possession are waning, and as soon as they are over, the better.
