Whats ur opinion on Evangelicals?
they kind of creep me out. i've seen some of their rituals and they seem like more of a humongous cult than anything. and they're so fanatical, and hard headed. its scares me that america is run by them.
i posted this before. i just wanted to respond to some people. the thing that scares me about this group is how they're so full of hate and are the type of people willing to cast the first stone thinking they're all pure. someone said they're not running jihads. what is the war in iraq. id call that a pretty big jihad.
and the rituals that scare me aren't the ones where they're singing and dancing but the ones, where they act like they're being posessed and start. the ones where they start jumping up and down screaming and crying and shouting. those scare me. the ones where they lose consciousness, and start foaming out the mouth
and yes they do rule america, with their vote and their crazy president. who talks like the president of iran.

There is no need to be afraid of evangelicals. We are Christians who love the Lord and would like for all the world to at least hear the gospel and have the chance to receive Jesus as their personal savior. No one can be forced to get saved, so you have nothing to worry about.

They rule the United States of America? Is that the country you mean? We have more diverse thinkers than you can imagine! Even among Evangelicals. We would like not to have to defend our country, as in not have disgruntled folks that give their lives for running planes into our buildings!
If you live in the USA you know you can go to a variety of churches. If you are sssccccarrrrredddddd, go somewhere else!
By the way, are you PURE? Judge not that you be judged! Open your mind to accept information that may be new to you. Don't accept predjudice like that you write. Peace.

You don't help your credibility when you write those types of things as well as "foaming at the mouth"... how can you be taken seriously?
But it goes with most liberals - few ideas, immature, no answers just criticism...
So how would you handle the war on terror? Why have you expressed hate? What rituals are you opposed to and why? Being possessed?
Educate yourself on issues and let's talk - and if you educate yourself you may change your ideas and short-sightedness.
Or you may "get stuck in Iraq".

Ever think that even if they claim to be pure, that they aren't? Ever think that everything they do is not always supported by the Bible? Ever think that you only see the crazy ones?
I know hundreds of evangelicals and none of them do/agree with everything you've listed above.
Also, why does nearly every non-Christian claim that the country is run by Christians, and yet nearly every Christian could tell you that they don't run the country and the country is going down the wrong path?

Some evangelicals scare me too. And I'm a born again Christian. But Christianity isn't about Christians; it's about Christ.
