What do you think.
A reading i went for was very revealing, i had a very old friend that was trying to contact me. He had a very specific name. His name was Gary Moore, not the famous one, i cannot understand how a complete strager would know this, plus other personal information that quite frankly made me blush.
My mum went for a reading and was told about a brother she had she never knew about until she asked her mum after the reading. He died just after childbirth. Spooky i think
I have seen Colin Fry and others on TV, and granted TV can be staged but if they are real, it makes you think

I realise some people will think it is crack pot stuff, but the lady i saw i came upon by chance and we had never spoken or seen each other before, in fact it was a spur of the moment thing, which was the same as my mum.
The lady i saw aparently has become a professional mediuum now i heard. She did a tarrow card reading for me. Hand on heart, i had never even been any where near where she works before. I am very sceptical an i knew better then give her signals, i have been conned before by different things, but i have never had a reading, and i am definately not religious, it was just a spur of the moment thing

There are things in this world which defy explanation. What is truly amazing is that you yourself have this same gift within yourself, even if you do not care about it nor use it. It is not your intuition, which will inform you of many things that are unusual and accurate. It is not coincidence, because it happens too often. It is what I would like to call a higher mind function. Anyone who truly has this gift does not feel defensive about it, nor does he or she feel the need to try to explain it all the time. What is impressive about it is how accurate it can be sometimes, as you yourself have experienced. I am fortunate to have this gift, but it is not always "on." I can be with some individuals and not know a thing about them but I can meet other individuals and look them in the eye and begin to speak to them and all kinds of true things will start coming out. I have learned to keep fairly low key about all of this, and I do not usually mention it, but your question seems very important, so I offer what I have written here for what it is worth to you. My own gift, what will happen is that I will "see" an entire picture in a very brief flash inside my mind. When I speak with someone, what I am doing is describing what I saw from that picture as accurately as I possibly can. If I alter it or interpret it, that is called "colouring," and cancels the vision or gift or picture or reading. If I am around someone who is either negative or unbelieving, everything becomes quiet within me. But if I am around someone who is okay with this sort of thing, all of a sudden I will be telling that person all kinds of things, like the importance of rearranging his bedroom, or of walking more to strengthen his legs for balance, or of letting go of an old friendship that is actually over with.

It's obviously not making you think enough. You need to check up on a variety of things, including Cold Reading.

You should also check out the James Randi Educational Foundation whose mission it is to expose these frauds.

Sorry to tell you this, but if she had a specific name like that, then she knew something about you ahead of time. She looked you up, or someone had told her. There are no such things as psychic powers - it's all make-believe. Look up 'hot reading' techniques. And look here www.randi.org .

I don't doubt that there are people who are able to converse with spirits (although I am sure that there are also many 'fake' mediums), but that does not mean that they are right to do so! The Bible speaks of mediums, but the teaching is clear that it it wrong - God does not want us to do it!

I'm afraid you've been the victim of "Warm reading".

There's no such thing as a genuine medium.

Its all fake.

Sounds real to me! Or as real as it gets - the medium you saw could not have known these things - no way.

Count yourself lucky that you chose a good one, there are so many charlotons out there -sadly playing people who feel they need the guidance of a physic. So many of feel 'that' need - i have myself and it helped - because like you, I found a good one.

Be happy and move on with things!

i have a very good friend who is a psychic/medium. as he explains it, he does not know the information himself, all he knows is what messages the dead tells him. he has a gift.
