I am assuming from your lack of stating so that you did not enter the British Lotto. Scams prey upon people who believe that they can win in something they have not entered.
This is a SCAM.

They are all scams. Do a search using some of the words from the letter like their address, "company" name, etc.. You will usually find that only anti-scam websites pop up. I've heard of the lotto scam that sends the check before. The check will bounce.

I have recieved about 20 emails and 5 letters within the last 4 years, all looking valid enough with phone numbers and reference numbers etc. Don't trust them, they're a scam unfortunately! Sorry

It's a scam. If you didn't enter it you did not win it. They tell people about this scam all the time. Throw the stuff away or take it to the police.
