No.I like a jam doughnut now and again.one doughnuts eaten every so often is not going to give you a heart attack they are only bad if you eat them all the time day after day, If a well balanced diet is eaten then you will be fine.
If they were to be banned what sort of punishment would you enforce,on those who break the law of eating doughnuts...and think how poor old Homer Simpson would feel if there were no doughnuts.

Should alcohol be banned due to the increased risk of asking stupid questions on Yahoo Answers?

I don't think they should. There are lots of other things out there that are worse then donuts that can increase the risk of a heart attack.

Doughnuts are like most anything. Too much can cause a problem. Eaten sensibly, unless you're under a doc's care and doughnuts are forbidden, you should be fine. As the joke goes about law enforcement, if you ban doughnuts these people are going to have a stroke.

No, not ever. Whatever happened to freedom of choice. I should be able to decide to eat or drink anything I choose to do so, as long as it is not poisonous. Too much of ANYTHING is bad for you.
I don't listen to all the scaremongers who try to tell me what I should and should not eat or drink.
