I just got a letter from King County Metro saying. One of their Access Drive complain because my serivce dog have nuisance odor and is dirty. She was not dirty I been on Access, most of the time their floor are dirty anyhow, they don't sweep the floor as part of their job. Also she a labrador retriever. They said if I don't take care of the odor I am not allowed on King Coutny Metro and Access anymore. What the American With Disablities Acts say about that? Anyone who have a service dogs longer than me please answer as soon as possible thanks.

I hope that they are not saying something about the way you take care of your service dog. If they are,,,, shame on you!!! GIVE IT A BATH ! ! !
I have had Labs for about 50 years, and they do not have much of an odor problem unless they are not taken care of.
Now there are quite a few municipalities that are cracking down on people calling a "Companion dog" a "Service dog". They are two different things, with two different sets of rules.

ADA would have a Field day with this....your service dog( YOU didn't say what type if service dog) is allowed on any public transportation, unless your dog shows signs of aggression, or causes a major disturbance, they can not deny you service, restaurants, stores etc may not let you in with him, however I have never been denied any entrance to anyplace. If your dog has an order just get him some doggie deodorant.

I lived in that area for 24 years. While not everyone was perfect, it tends to be one of the more progressive places in the US. Maybe some intermediary would help. That depends on the disability you have. There are many good non-profits there, such as DBSC (Deaf Blind Service Center) that can make this work.
