I want to drop a keg but if I don't finish it all how long untill its pretty flat and unenjoyable.

If you are dispensing it with a hand pump, it will lose carbonation fairly rapidly, even under refrigeration - the loss of quality will be noticed in 1 to 2 days. However if you are dispensing it with co2 system it will not go flat until it is all gone.

If you get a kegerator, you can keep great tasting beer on hand whenever you want it for about a month until you need to get a new keg. There's really nothing better than being able to pour yourself a nice frothy pint after work.

If you leave it in ice, the beer can usually make it about eight hours before there is a noticable taste difference. After that, you will be able to taste the difference, but the carbonation will still be there for about two days. At least that has been my experience behind a bar
