Mexicans are a special case on immigration issues, since they were here before anyone else. Comprendes?

You cannot become a citizen of another country and have dual citizenship in the US. Dual citizenship can only be a result of being born that way. For example, if your parents served in the US military in Mexico, as attaches for example, and you were born in Mexico, but your parents submitted your birth certificate to the US embassy as a report of birth abroad, you would be a dual citizen.

The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo has 23 articles, but I think what you are referring to just outlines that if the Mexican government granted a deed to a tract of land to a Mexican farmer, for example, that the US government; despite annexing that land, would allow the farmer to remain on that land and honor the deed.

It did not extend the right for all Mexicans to enter the US free from control.

In our immagration laws the only dual Citizenships are with the Federal U.S. of the District of the Columbia and with the individual States such as Texas , California etc, etc.
Anyone who tells you they have a dual Citizenship with another country they must be a lier.

Nope, no 'comprendes'. Illegal immigration, including illegal immigration from Mexico, is a crime. Mexico is now implementing passports for travel from the US. We should have that also, I believe. Finally, illegal immigration should be elevated to be a felony. The US/Mexico border fence will pose no obstacle to lawful entry....so let's have it built, and have an end to a lot of the drug smuggling and human trafficking and human tragedy...

I wasnt aware that decendants on the border had dual citizenship. I know that if you marry an American or are an American marrying a Mexican that you can get dual citizenship. I wouldnt waste your time asking these bozos they are just going to insult you, try google.
