My parents have put a time limiting program on my computer and its getting really annoying. I cant download any large files or do anything for an extended period of time (>30min.), and i need some way to hack it. It is called kids watch time control and it runs off of the windows login screen and accounts. I've tried almost all i know, starting with basic stuff that i didn't really expect to work (removing account passwords, ending the process, uninstalling the program, etc.). My account is still an administrator and i have the priveliges associated with it but when i try to circumvent the program in almost any way it blocks me. Like when i tried the net user command in command prompt it failed to run the command because "TCCLIENT.exe has interrupted this command due to insuffiecient user priveliges". I also cant access my C drive through filesharing or use any remote access programs. It also doesn't let me access regedit. This program is EVIL! If i can just get to my dad's windows

account password i can get by the timer but that has proved more tiresome than i originally thought. My parents don't seem to get that I built my own computer for a reason. Can anyone help me? (without reformatting....i thought of that too)

Okay before i give you a possible way around the whole parental control thing:
There must be a reason your parents put the linmiter on in the first place, so the right thing to do is to ask your father if he can release the restrictions or modify them so you can do what you need to.

Now then with that being said, if you have admin priviledges on your account but the program is locked dowwn by a password its not gonna just let you shut it off. There are 2 easy steps you can try.
1) click start then run the type msconfig
once msconfig comes up go to the startup tab and see if the application is listed, if it is, uncheck it. If not then check the services tab and see if its listed there, again if it is uncheck it. Click on apply then okay and select to restart.
When the computer reboots you'll get a promt window saying that the configuration has been changed, just click the don't show me box and then okay.

2) If the msconfig thing didn't work you can bypass (actually delete) your dads logon password. While the computer is booting up hit the f8 button until it shows you options to login by safe mode, safe mode with networking etc.
Select Safe mode with networking.....once booted up you'll see 2 logins, one will be the admin login (don't worry there's usually not a password) select the admin and wait for windows to load. go to the control panel, click on the user accounts, select the one you want to get into (if its not listed your sol) and then select to delete the password.
Reboot and you can now simply click and go.

is this a query or a proselytizing assertion? the respond: It relies upon on the strikes of each and each individual. people who're based on self tend to be extra offended and uncaring. people who're based on others are extra empathetic and documents. As Christians we are called upon to love God and others... to place them first. this is interior the giving that we acquire.
