I used to have a bad temper but now I have it under control. I found out that it take up too much energy and that sometimes you destroy things that you wish you hadn't. Now I just take a deep breath and handle the situation very calmly. You actually feel better about yourself that you were able to control yourself.

I used to have a terrible temper. I've since learned to control it. It took a lot of practice, you just have to try and remember to stop, breathe for a second, then face the situation calmly. I've also found that if something is just unbearable, it helps me to release some aggression by just yelling into a pillow. It's safe, effective, and as long as you do it in private, nobody will be hurt or freaked out.

No I am pretty laid back. But my husband used to have a bad temper. It caused him to get into fights, and be just plain annoying. He went to anger management. It made a Hugh difference. It has been 9 years, and he very rarely loses his temper. And is much nicer to be around. When he starts to get bad tempered again he uses meditation, and will go to a few anger management meetings. And he is okay.

I have a quick temper. A slight statement (only my parents and brother) and I'm off raising my voice and such. It's hard to handle but over a few years it's easier to control. I usually have t opay the consequences which are apologizing and etc. Why do you ask?
