some say love it is a river that drowns the tender reed.some say love love is a razor that leaves you soul to bleed, some say love is a hunger an endless aching need. i say love is a flower and you its only seed.its the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance, its the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance, its the one who wont be taken who cannot seem to give and the soul afraid of dying that never learns to live.
when the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long and you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong, just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snow, lies the seed that with the suns love, in the spring becomes the rose!!

In a nutshell love is about actions and not so much about the words. How someone treats you shows you how much they love you. It is kindness, caring, honesty, patience, trust and attributes such as these. It is not what they give you or do for you.

Too many people hear "I love you" everyday and don't pay attention to how someone "treats" them. It is amazing and sad what people will do in order to not feel lonely. This is the case of abuse. The abuser makes the abused feel that that person can't live without them. The abused don't want to be alone and have developed an unhealthy emotional co-dependency or attachment. This is often the case of people who have low self-esteem.

It's important to learn what "love is not" in order to understand what love is.

Never live your life in the blind. Look pass the words, look at the actions. Learn to leave a situation with hurt feelings before you're forced to leave with a broken heart. I guarantee if you look at love in the manner I described above, you will for sure know when you "don't" have it.

Accept nothing but love from family, friends and your significant others.

It seems to be something wonderful that everyone else has experienced, something exciting and adventureous, truly magical, a reaction between two people who live happy ever after, stomach flipping, dizzy causing, non stop thinking, not eating, full on emotion with lots of sex!!!........ Don't know, I've never felt it. lol, I'd 'love' someone to fall in love with me and for me to be able to love them right back! How nice....ahhhhhhhhhh. Good luck in your quest to find the answer

Love to me is looking forward to going home after work everyday to someone who's always there for me. To talk, share, kiss, cuddle ,have a laugh with, eat and cook with. Looking after each other. Love is soo many things. : )

I think it something that is impossible to be defined and can only be felt.
Often people say they are inlove then later say that they weren't... so maybe they can un-write the love that they were once involved in.

I think it starts with fancying someone then getting to like who they are and wanting to be with them and when they hold you it makes you feel safe and happy
