Find something you and your grandma can do together. You are young and probably don't like just sitting around talking or playing a game with grandma but you may have to do just that. Because you are young you have alot of energy and older people are more settled. Find something she enjoys and just make those times fun for both of you. That will mean sitting and talking or helping her in the kitchen or ask her if there is anything else you could help her with. Ask her what she would like to do. If you go shopping try to stay with her and stay calm. It is the generation gap that is the problem. That is why she yells at you and you hate being there. Good luck to you. I hope you can work it out. She is doing you and your mom a favor and she wants to or she would refuse to watch over you while your mom is busy. She must love you very much.

No matter how much your grandmother might drive you insane still have and show respect for her. Maybe you should find something else to do on the weekends instead of staying cooped up in the house with her. Try communicating with her more often. Learn about her and allow her to learn about you. And maybe some of the things that you are doing aren't so pity. Have you ever considered that? Who knows...you might drive her insane!!

Well, you're lucky that you can still live with your fam... I'm 14 years of age too, you know, and am studying abroad in other country, without my family here beside me, I miss how they always fuss small things and how did they usually get angry with me... so just tell yourself you're lucky that she cares enough for u...

Talk to your mom about it. Tell her that you have some severe misunderstandings with your great grandmother.

you're a typical 14yr old.....and you probably won't appreciate her until you are older, just keep a positive attitude and try and enjoy your time with her, find something that you both enjoy to do.
