Is God keeping me alive?

I just get so nervous about death. I just feel like it going to happen to me at anytime?

Does Thou Shall Not Kill/Murder include suicide, and killing myself and killing yourself?

What happens if a human does commit suicide?

Yes, he is keeping you alive. He could have removed his protection from you a long time ago. Don't be paranoid, because "Fear is not of God." Killing yourself is suicide. I believe that if you kill yourself then you may go to hell, because suicide is still murder, and there is no way for you to repent if you're dead.

You (the soul) are eternal you always existed and always will exist. It is your body that will die. We are all going to leave our body at some time and take another body until we are done with the material world. When one is finished with trying to Lord it over material nature then one starts to question their existence and their relationship with God. God in return to the sincere seeker sends them to some one who knows and the process how to get out of the material world. One should never take thir life because it does not end it. They then have to become a disembodied soul (ghost) that is even more miserable than when they had a body because what ever ones thoughts are at the time of death is what they attain in the next situation. If one thinks of God at the time of Death (not self induced) then one goes to the eternal spiritual abode where ther is no misery because we have pure spiuritual bodies. You are actually more intelligent than most because you do not find happiness in the material world so if you want happiness you have to learn how to live in this world but not be of it. Hey - every breath ANYONE takes is only because of God's common grace towards everyone. Don't get nervous about death - think of it, once you're dead, if you are trusting in Jesus as your Saviour, you'll be in heaven! Heaven will be such a wonderful place compared to down here.... it really will be heaven:). Don't worry, whenever your time comes, God knows it. Just make sure you're trusting in him. And killing yourself would mean you are killing a person, which in God's eyes is a sin. God gave you your life - use it to His glory! God bless you.

if you do that, you cease to live. you do to yourself exactly what your afraid of. to kill is to kill, whether its yourself or someone else. death is just a transition from one plane to the next. it happens to everyone, so theres no reason to be nervous about it. there are things that the human mind in its present state cannot comprehend. the afterlife is one of them. you can listen to preachers, read the bible 24-7, have your soul saved and all that, but you still wont be able to comprehend whats next. why not relax and enjoy what you can. take it easy.

Don't over think because what you think is what you feel. The brain is super powerful.

Go talk to your doctor about thoughts, write them down when you have them and challenge/validate them to be sure you're not fooling yourself.

Continue to trust in God in a childlike way, he will never steer you wrong; take one thing at a time.

Good luck

What happens if a human does commit suicide? - They die.

Only YOU can keep yourself alive (eating and drinking) so take responsibility for your own actions, otherwise you will die.

you are alive because .. you are probably reasonably healthy , young and avoid dangerous situations

but please if this fear of death becomes too much .. see a doctor
my sister suffers from this and it has taken over her life
and will most likey cause you more concern than anything that may happen to you in future years
