Your ancestors already are people, to the extent that by "people" you mean human. Ancestors are in the past, descendants are in the future. And yes, your descendants will also be human. On a long enough timeline (thousands to millions of years), some of your descendants may differ enough from you genetically to be considered a different species (similar to the difference between homo erectus and homo sapien), but I don't think that should be cause for any concern.

first of all, humans didnt evolve from monkeys. humans and chimpanzees shared a COMMON ANCESTOR.
and human beings TODAY, are considered "people" so i dont know what your question is asking. maybe they will be more EVOLVED people.

Do you mean will monkeys be people? No. We didn't evolve from the types of apes we see nowadays, we evolved from some monkey-like human creature, and they're all gone.
