No, I can't say that I have. I wouldn't suggest that you do it either.

:You probably are just going Thru a phase in your life. you must have very good parents to feel this way. as you must be a sweet and considerate person to worry so much, So long as you havent done anything mean, or stolen something, or committed a crime of sorts, you dont have to confess embarrassing things, Mom's usually know all this anyway, as "hello"? we were once your age, yes it is a part of growing up, my daughter did exactly what you are describing,, and what I said to her was, "honey I will tell you what I'd like I'd like us to do.... which was, when you come home at night, first I will ask you "what is the worst thing that happened to you today?" and she would tell me, than I asked her "what was the best thing that happened to you today"? and we were both happy with that., all those embarrassing things you should just forget about!!!

It's because you're growing up and are afraid you'll grow away or grow out of them if you don't keep them informed. Be assured, when you're 50 you'll still be 'their little girl'.
It's important to talk to your parents, they've "been there, done that" with a lot of things you'll soon be experiencing. Their experience can be invalulable to you; hopefully you'll never close this door of communication.

If its done and over with, and you have learned from it, no need to tell everything. You may cause them to lose sleep when it is unnecessary. Don't make them worry if its not necessary. You seem intelligent enough to distinguish whether or not you should tell them. If you are school age, maybe talk to a counselor. You should not feel guilty if you haven't caused any long-term damage to anyone. Sleep tight!!!

If you've already told them the most embarassing things, telling them more doesn't hurt. More so, if that means you can eat and sleep well after confession.

Only you know if it is important for them to know.
Most kids tell their parents these things when they are grown.
I also know something about my daughter that she has never told me and she is in her 30’s. I doubt if she will ever tell me and I don’t care. Why? Because believe it or not, I was a kid at one time too... just like your parents.

Yeah. For me it was once I had children.... I Felt like I was cursed (because my daughter was a terror at age 4) so I felt like if I came clean on allmy transgressions that the curse would have been reversed....
They weren't, she's still a terror, and my parents think I'm a moron!

Trust me there's things your parents would probably rather not know. A few secrets isn't going to hurt anybody.
