What is a good solution for having better airline food?

My solution was to start serving name brand meals like Lean Cuisine. Any others?

The airline can change caterers and that is about the only thing they can change. They cannot take the time to thaw Lean Cuisine meals for passengers.

Most airlines will give you a vegetarian meal if you order it a week in advance or a high protein meal. Usually, the special order meals are better.

Lean Cuisine and things like that is what I was going to suggest - good idea. We think alike. (or if possible let us bring our own food as long as it's in a certain kind of carrier and have the flight attendants heat it up) Normally airplane food sucks. So, that was a very good question you asked. I'd give you an A+.

Honestly, there is no real solution to this other than stopping meal service altogether (exceptr on international flights) and get passengers to bring their own food. With new security measures being the way they are, I believe that airports will have to begin opening "grocery/deli" type stores in the secure areas of the airport for passengers to be able to purchase "security-approved" meals to take on board. It will no doubt be expensive, but at this point, perhaps the only solution left.

Ben gave you a well dose.. and I will tack in this when you consider that we're seeing it increasingly now... Credit Rating. Even the army is watching at this now as a degree of your accountability. The extra pageant there may be... the more difficult they'll appear. In the early ninety'a Judy Tarver are AA stated there have been over 10,000 programs on dossier...which intended approximately a million-one hundred so that you ought to deliver your first-class.

The last handfull of flights I took had box meals from restaurants. Unless you like all that salt and fat, I prefer to pack my own. Leftovers from last night's dinner! Yumm!!
