Christians are believes in a religious faith. Irish is a nationality. While the most common religions are Catholic and Anglican (Chur ch of England), not all Irish are of the Christian faith any more than all Americans are Christians. Being Christian is a decision each person has to make. Being an Irish is a result of birth.
