America would definitly benefit more from a pluralistic, interfaith harmony. The "my religion" attitude is, well, selfish, and will only lead to, as you said, religious conflict. It'll be inevitable. Look at the current "culture wars". Red state vs Blue state. Democrat vs Republican. Liberal vs Conservative. Religious vs Non Religious. If we don't find balance and harmony, yeah, we're gonna destroy ourselves.
As far as those ministers go, who say that all other religions are "wrong" are the ones who are truly wrong. They need to get out in the world, experience a different point of view and see that people can be happy without believing in the same God as said minister professes to believe in. They don't understand about the religions they're condemning and probably fear them, so rather than taking a risk and learning something new about someone else, they'd rather preach hate and fear.
Which is a shame, because the best way to conquer fear is to face it and learn about that which scares you. After all, there was a President that once said "We have nothing to fear but fear itself." Face fear, and you'll have none, because you'll know why it scares you. :)

We should pick our religion but we should see that all religions are coming from God. We have to understand the evolution of the soul (not to be mistaken for Darwin's Theory which has been proven wrong by the scientists get book Forbidden Archeology) God gives us unlimited chances to evolve spiritually. Each life is meant to correct our past and learn higher and higher truths as we progress ultimately everyone goes back to Him But it can take billions of lifetimes for some. Even if all religions in the country were reduced to a single set of beliefs under one name, people would find something else to fight about. So long as there is a limited resource, people will fight over it.

I think there should definitely be some degree of pluralism as well as interfaith harmony as you mentioned. We can share what we do have in common, as long as we don't try to integrate faiths to the extent that we lose our individualities.

evaluate the Lilly continually makes me giggle. do no longer understand why. do no longer easily understand what their faith is the two, yet each and every time evaluate posts (even nonetheless that's the comparable subject lower back and lower back) I burst out giggling. Jack (Catholicism is certainty) unquestionably makes a factor to connect with those that disagree with him. He particularly tries to place attempt into the conversations he has rather of in basic terms doing tension-via-questions. Citizen of the Cosmos is somebody i do no longer many times accept as true with, yet each each so many times he/she will say something very poignant. and regardless of if i do no longer accept as true with it, i'm going to provide it a thumbs up with the aid of fact i admire his thought technique.

Yes. You are right. It is always good to respect others points of view. I think a lot of people don't, but they can still change their ways, and at least learn to be more tolerant.

yes, you're right. There will be no peace on earth until every knee bows, and every tongue confesses that Jesus is God. Human beings are at enmity with God, and until they recognize that there is indeed a God and that he created them, they will continue to fight against him and his children. hope that makes sense to you:) God bless.
