Two questions related to this topic!

1) If a firework landed on your car, is it likely to do damage? I'm just wondering because they're obviously flying around all over the place tonight, and I just wonder whether anyone's actually had their car damaged by one, or maybe even if one's landed on them!

2) Is it just where I am, or are their stupid people everywhere? Obviously people are going over the field to let off fireworks at night, because when I go there in the morning, there are sticks stuck in the ground all over the place. I get so angry, because my dog bounds around and has nearly stabbed himself several times. If you're going to light fireworks in public places, can't you just take your sticks with you? Or even pull them out of the ground and lay them on the floor, so they're not sticking out and endangering anyone!

The only damage I have, is where my terrified dog has ripped a hole in my lounge carpet, trying to hide. Why can't they just make pretty ones that don't bang or leave the ground

On question one, I think that it would be difficult to prove who lit the firework that damages a car. On question two I think that there are many thoughtless people who leave their firework remains littering everywhere, when with a little forthought they could remove them, when safe to do so and bin them. The answer is to only have professionally organised events who would be responsible for the clearing up, and for any damage caused.

No it's not just where you live, there are stupid people everywhere. And to be honest, the type of people that let fireworks off in public field areas are not going to be too bothered about anyone else.

I've never had a firework damage my car, but maybe it could leave a dent!!!

Unfortunaltey there's nothing we can do about the remains of fireworks, yet if we'd had a picnic on a field and left all our rubbish we could very well be prosecuted for litter offences!!! It makes no sense what so ever!!!
