I need to dye 200 eggs for a Red Egg and Ginger Party - a party given to celebrate the birth of a baby.

you can use either red Easter egg coloring dye (with a tad of vinegar) in hot water (in a cup and use a metal lifter). Or instead of the egg coloring you can use red food coloring (with a lieelt vinegar in hot water in a cup). I think it's a tablespoon of vinegar.

Naturally the eggs have to be hard cooked for about 15 minutes, cooled, washed and made smooth when they have cooled to room temperature. Test them to see if the coloring takes better for you when the eggs are still warm or if when they have cooled off.

Special lucky red money paper is boiled to make red dye for eggs which are given to friends and relatives who would in turn bestow gifts upon the child.

Red food coloring of course!!!!! soak them in it for 5 minues each... in pure straight red food coloring...
