I usually exercise by running or walking. Now, I have started specific exercises and weight lifting to tone myself better. I am having problems with my abs. I don't really have access to very good weight lifting eqipment, so please tell me, besides sit ups, what other exercises can I do to tone my abs?

do something called nintendo...its where your in a push up position...only on your forearms. Hold this for like 20 seconds. It's killer, but it really works.

one word for you dude......PROTEIN after exercise helps your muscles repair themselves. If you are exercising for 2 to 4 hours a day, you should be having a protein snack and/or mixing some protein powder into your water...assuming you are hydrating those muscles. sounds like portion control is an issue for you. i think you have a combination of reasons why the weight is creeping up even though you are working out. the machine you are creating with working out needs the proper fuel to run efficiently.

It is a great site. I have already lost 10 lbs on there. Tell them Firemansgirl001 sent you. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

you can hang from a bar with your arms and pull your legs up to form a right angle, hold and lower. Its a killer exercise.

Also doing slow sit-ups (or crunches) really stick it to your abs.

I always do crunches and variations of them until I get something just killer and then do 10 and stop.

wow, crunches do best. but try different ones. try crossing your legs in the air, or do the bicycle in the air, like riding an emaginary bike while laying on your back with legs in the air, while lifting your bottom off the ground.
