The things you do to avoid constipation afte gallbladder removal are the same as those you did before. Increase the fruits and veg in the diet, eat more whole grains and less meat. Add things like raisins and prunes to the diet. Drink more liquids, water especially. Cut back on the meat, pasta, white bread and cheese. Take a stool softener as needed, but avoid laxatives if at all possible because they are harsh and can cause rebound constipation afterwards.
Removing the gall bladder means you don't store bile, used to break down fat in the diet. You do still produce it, it just goes directly into the stomach now from the liver. A high fat meal is not a good idea even to combat constipation because you will be left feeling nauseated, bloated, and can have explosive diarhea, with serious cramping and gas. It's better for the system to use gentle methods and adjust the diet. Allow a few days for things to regulate themselves afterwards, and you should be fine. Afterwards, you should just eat a balanced diet, like everyone should, and avoid the foods which cause you troubles. Not everyone who has their gallbladder removed has difficulties with the same foods, some have no problems at all. You will just have to see what yours are. Meantime, eat what grandma called roughage, the fruits and veg, and you should note improvement.

eat anything oily/greasy/fat and you will have the opposite problem ... Big time. In fact it becomes such a problem that the gastroenterologist will give you a little pill to take. Hope your problem clears up soon.
