The thing is how can you possibly know Good if there is no Evil, Love if there is no hate, Happiness if there is no sadness.
Life is about experiencing and growing Spiritually we are given what we need to experience and grow.

depends what you believe. If you believe in that everything was nonexistant once in history and God created teh standard for what is good or right or light than he did...probably by mistake. The truth is, the word darkness, evil, and wicked are words created by man. Light is the only thing in teh universe that can be all consuming, this is proven by testing this theory with somethign as simple as a dark room and a flashlight. Once you turn the flashlight on, the darkness begins to disappear. The word darkness means to complete lack of light. Good is often compared to the light which means it can consume everything. The word evil in spiritual terms, means the complete removal of all that is holy or right.. again it was a word created by man to mean the opposite of Good or rightous just like the word wicked or trecherous. Words created by man. So, if God created teh good, then he created teh evil because of his actions of introducing light or right into the world.

God created all things, including good and evil.....That was the reason God told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of knowledge. Both Adam and Eve were exposed to the knowledge of evil and hid their nakedness. God created good and evil. Both were perfect and created for a reason that only God knows.

I would love to go into more detail concerning evil, but it would only start a holy war.

if you are religious and believe in God... And God created the heavens and the earth and all in between, then he made both. He made the angels first, including Lucifer, who was according to the bible the most beautiful and favored. He created free will. If he is all knowing, he knew what Lucifer would do and created the potential for good and evil. It is up to everyone else to chose.

God created a angel but that being decided He wanted to be God, and God does not create robots but beings with A choice, He decided to make A devil of Himself, compare the bible account of the devil in Isaiah 14:12=15 and Ezekiel 28:12-15 by the way when God talks about satan He uses kings or other subjects then He pulls back the curtin and lets you see what is behind the real story, compare satan with the person of Jesus Christ described in Isa. 53. questions www.bibleinfo.com EMAIL me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

In essence, good always existed. Since God, by definition, is goodness itself. So since He never had a beginning good itself always existed. Evil is only the absence of good. Something which sin has created through disobedience towards God.
