I live in Colorado Springs and have been to his church many times. I believe all Christians (and all people) are sinners and should confess their sins to a forgiving God. God will forgive, however people often don't forgive.

Forgiveness is essential. Now unless something has happened since I saw the News Last Night, he only confessed to Meth use. I doubt the Homosexual accusations. But even if that were true, Forgiveness is essential.

I personally didn't know who he was until this business came out. I must say people like this Haggard fellow is one of the exact reasons that I don't go to church. I don't need a sinner telling another sinner (me) how to live my life. God already told me how to live through His word and the Holy Spirit. I tend to like to keep the middleman out of my walk.

Forgiveness yes, always. Getting scammed again by a con artist...no way!

I feel for his family - but not for him.

I have an intense dislike for bigots who tell us all how to behave and then do the opposite.

I wouldn't dream of judging the guy for having sex with lads, nor for taking class A if that's his thing....

....but when he tells * US * that *WE* need to behave better, then he needed taking down more pegs than a peg factory has in stock following a very large cancelled order.

Forgive him or don't forgive him, but he still preached one thing and did the opposite. He collected donations from loyal followers, people who believed in his words and ideals, and went behind their backs and engaged in the very behavior they love him for condemning.

The truth shall set him free and we are not to condemn one as all our innocent until proven gulity in a court of law. If people dont forgive it it the baggage they carry until they do. He is not gulity howver until he is proven that he is. We are not to judge

the command is to repent of your sins and sin no more. because of the command to be Holy as IAM is HOLY. if you remain as a sinner, and attempt to judge others for their sins, then you only endanger yourself, to be handed over, further to their way of sins.

It confirms my suspicion that all anti-gay evangelicals are actually hypocritical closet queens.

Haggard has always given off gay signals tho those who understand such things.

Repugnant--does anybody think of what he's done to his wife and kids? He's a horrible person, and should be castrated and shot, not forgiven
