Definitely,

I have known people who were brought here by their parents as children

They excelled in school but couldn't get into a good university because of their 'illegal' status in the US..

That sucks..

This is pretty complicated. But, I generally do not support any bill that gives money to immigrants. My parents were immigrants from Italy and they did not get any favors. They made it on their own. They learned English and became American, adopting the customs and culture while maintaining their own at home. I think this is what America is about. Work hard, be good citizens, good and grateful students, learn the language, don't drain the system.

No.

In Cali, voters decided by over 2/3ds that illegal immigrants could not attend public schools.

When your kid goes to school in a classroom overloaded with 45 kids and there are 2 ESL teachers aides there to basically tutor children who are illegal, your kid is not getting the education that they deserve or that your property taxes pay for. It is totally unfair to American children to put them in classes so large that learning is nearly impossible, because illegal immigrants bring their children with them into our country.
I feel really sorry for the children of illegals, but not sorry enough to sacrifice the education of our kids.

No. The children of illegal aliens belong with their parents and should not be treated as pawns for bringing their entire family into the USA. Deport the whole lot of them. They can apply for a visa to come into the USA legally.

It's sad that those parents didn't have the forethought to realize the problems their children could face by their illegal actions. It's a bad situation. I believe those people should all be sent back to their countries to enter the proper way.

No. Deport ALL illegal immigrants and ALL of their children, whether anchor babies, or not. When the anchor babies are 18, let them return as adults but NOT to bring back their entire families with them. Next, get rid of the anchor baby loophole law.

no i do not support that, nor do i support making illegals legal unless they fill out the proper paperwork that every other immigrant has to file. i dont care if their parents dragged them over the border, that shouldnt allow them to have special treatment.
