Im having a destination wedding in New York in a castle. I want a really cool save the date announcement. No price limit.

My cousin did magnets, and I thought that was great because you could put it on the fridge. That way, they see it everytime they go to get a glass of milk or snack.

You could use the theme. I saw the magnet suggestion, to add to that the magnets could be shaped like a castle, or an apple for New York City. Another idea would be a scroll, since announcements were read off of a scroll ot the royalty back in mideval times.

I made magnets for my Save the Date announcements. You can order them online and have them made professionally as well. I had a lot of people call me to say Congrats and tell me they love the magnets because they won't forget! (they see it everytime they go in the fridge! LOL)

You might consider doing a photo postcard with a couple of photos on the front. One photo of the castle where you are going to have your wedding and one of you and your significant other.

we did magnets! had our picture on them and everything. Sooooo many people called to tell us how much they loved them...and many still have them on their fridge and we got married 2 months ago.
