What leads to evil is evil. Chats might lead to boy picturing the girls in a way that arouses him. He will start asking/talking about 'you-know-what'. It is better to stay away from it, that's all. All these things (the woman being covered, having to pray at home, if goes to the mosque will have a separate room from men…) is to protect women from lusting eyes of men. Not all of them have a clean heart.

Why are you asking a qustion to which you already know the answer to. You know that is HARAM to talk to a boy (unless he is your husband) weather or not it is Ramadan or not. You should do it at all.

i think you are loosing the real essence of religion....its made to liberate the mind not too constrict it ....try to think of this why did prophet mohammed have so many wives......because there is not relation of love, sex, emotion etc to religion. its a concept which developed in between with time by people who wanted to control everyhting from the way we eat to the way we sleep. Coming back to your question is 'chatting really haram' , I guess you would have to redefine everything into what is haram ....I personally think anything with which you consiceince is not OK is haram and rest is not ..............rest is your perception try to read and think ........dont ask people who just give you one opinion disreagrding the way world works.

-----I am not sure I understand your question. Do you mean "haram" or "harm"? I think you should edit your question to make it more clear. Use proper punctuation, capitalization, and grammar. "I" is not written "i". Use periods and commas in the correct places. ---Jim

good job, online chat btween genders is not acceptable in Islam, only when someone is to get married, that person has to "interview" the women he is seeing to get married

as long as it's clean and doesn't stop you from praying and doing what you are supposed to be doing then i see nothing wrong with it.

stay safe and God bless you.
