seperate muslim classes in army?

Just been watching news,and apparently the milatary are holding seperate training classes for muslims in the BRITISH army. Is this right? I am fiercely proud of the british army, and think they are amongst the best in the world. part of this success is because of how patriotic they are, and how they work fantastically as a team. It doesnt seem right to segregate muslims from other british personnel when they're all fighting for te same side does it? or am i bein over anti politally correct?

if there was a laguage barrier, then the shouldnt even bew in our army, how are they gonna communicate to the rest of the team? its stupid.

The government say that the muslims should integrate more with us, and then in the next breath say that they are going to have separate classes for muslims. This sends out the wrong message and should be stopped. This will be another lowering of standards as has happened to the police force. The next thing they will say they won't fight as they have to get on their prayer mats and pray, and the government will say it is their human rights and they won't have to fight, especially if it is against other muslims. This shower of shite that we call a government have got their snouts so deep in the trough, that they can't see what harm they are doing to this country and towards racial harmony.

How do we know that Muslims in the British Army are all fighting for the same side. Sadly, I can't say anything has persuaded me that they are, particularly following the London bombings and deaths last year. It all sounds too stupid to be taken seriously - if there are Muslims in the British Army then they should serve and be trained exactly the same way as the rest of the troops - if they are genuine recruits defending our country then they won't have a problem.

Any military should live together, train together, fight together, party together, drink together, raise heII together, OK, you get the idea. You're part of a team and if you have to be segregated then you aren't part of the team.

I quit drinking after four years for a lot of reasons. It didn't make me less desired in the unit, on the contrary my cohorts had a built-in sober driver and I had an endless supply of free soda. As well as pockets bulging with car keys and a choice of almost any car in the parking lot. I don't normally believe in a win-win situation but that sure was.

Hmmmmm, this may not be a segregation issue but actually a positive, I'd be the first to say that segregating muslims was way wrong. However, what if this is been done in such a way as to be an advantage to our Army such as sending a Muslim soldier on a covert mission, were they wouldn't stand out or using them to gain public trust or as translators, if it were for these reasons then it's a good idea.

I agree with you. Million of Muslims are suffering these days and considered being terrorist just because of the acts of few fanatics. When IRA was attacking the UK, nobody blamed Christians for what is happening. The British media is also encouraging this anti Muslim wave by publishing daily anti Muslim news.
I do not think those who joined the army and ready to pay their lives to protect this country should be treated like criminals, this country is heading into apartheid, starting with the clear discrimination against Muslims at airport and including the attack of the media, the army. There is nothing Muslims could do these days other than patience and await what is happening next, Muslims should not loose temper as this can only create more hate. God bless us all!

Those who thinks that Muslims do nothing but praying or killing they are ALL wrong. There are Muslim doctors in YOUR country who operates for more than 10 hours without stopping to eat or drink or even pray!! They also save YOUR life when it comes to it!! purify your heart from the dirt inside!

-- I completely and utterly agree with you, you've obviously got your head screwed on the right way which is more than can be said of the politically correct desk jockeys who insist on trying to ruin THE BEST ARMED FORCES in the world instead of letting those officers who know what they're doing do their job.

Your being stupid. MUSLIMS can no longer invade different international places. it is u.s. that does that, alongside with Britain. Maybe the rest want to be away from the muslims.
It was once asked why the British armed forces were such good fighters, this was the answer:
The Americans fight for the flag.
The Germans fight for the Fatherland.
The British fight for themselves.

Maybe it's something as simple as a language barrier. Perhaps they're being trained in their native tongue. Otherwise, I can't think of a reason for the segregation.

Great idea, fully train them to fight, send them to Iraq and Afganistan and see them fighting WITH the enemy against us! Can't the powers that be see beond their noses. These people may be third generation born in UK, but they will never be british, because they are brought up to be Pakistani or Bangladeshi. They are brought up to see us as the infidel the unbeliever, so in their eyes we are nothing. Islam is creeping up on us, and we're letting it by our silence. Thankfully some MP's are now realising what is happening, and begining to speak out. We also have alot of Asians from the Indian Subcontinant who are not Muslims, who are Hindu, Shiek or Christian. But you hear very little off them, because the are not shouting or threatning to kill people if they don't like what they say. They are not gimmee, gimmee, gimmee, like Muslims are. Muslims want to change our culture, change our way of life. We have to change to suit them, not them to suit us.
