Ive just opened one and counted 217 pips - thats nothing though - just last week i counted a handful of gravel and got 117 - but just wait , the week before that i counted a handful of builders sand with 3 friends and came to the sum total of 37 million 437 thousand 877 grains. Now this took nearly 4 days and we were exhausted - i would not recommend it unless you have plenty of spare time on your hands! They were really chafing and we didnt get to eat it afterwards!!!

There will be an average number to this question, if you look at nature its very symmetrical, it uses the most simple forms of stature's to make the great plants and animals.
