you boil them with seasoning. make sure your heat is not to high. and you can add liquid smoke to your sauce when you bake it. one of my friends fathers para boils his then puts them in slow cooker for a few hours and it turns out great.

Tenderize them with SLOW cooking at low heat !! I do pork rib racks every other week... give them a nice dry-rub, put them in a 225 oven for about 4 hours... they're done when a bone can be pulled right off.
With a good gas grill you can add some WET wood chips in a smoker-bowl to get that extra smokey flavor !!

Boil them with a little minced onion and garlic for about half an hour before you grill them. The boiling takes out the excess fat and also helps to keep the meat moist and tender while it's on the grill.
I suggest cooking over a medium heat (too high, and the meat will turn tough), basting frequently with some of the defatted liquid that you boiled them in. Then, in the last fifteen minutes or so, slather them with your barbecue sauce.
Turn them over after the sauce has "set" on that side, and repeat until you've got a nice glaze. Just watch to make sure that the sauce doesn't burn.
Enjoy those ribs, and BTW -- when's dinner? ;-)

Slow roast in the oven at a low heat for a couple of hours. Just before serving, put on hot grill for about 5 minutes for that smoke flavor then dunk in BBQ sauce , kept simmering on the side of the grill .(don't try to grill with the sauce on, it burns it)

Brown them on your grill ( you can put some grill rub on them first), then put them in a roasting pan, cover them with BBQ sauce, then cover the pan with foil. Cook them in the oven for 2-3 hours at 250 degrees. They will be falling off the bone, when you are done.

DO NOT boil--it toughens them!
Put in oven at 300 for a couple hours, covered.
Ribs are one of my favorite things, and I make them a lot.
I am a purist, though---only charcoal will do.
