I want to loose 10 pounds by Thanksgiving, then 5 pounds after, (so I'll be 95 (I'm 5' 1", female, 110 pounds, 13 ) pounds) for Christmas. Would this be healthy to loose 10 pounds in about two weeks? Is it even possible? How would I do it? I don't have a regualr "exercise" routine, and I am unable to get into one. So, ignore exercise...for now. I expect to gain 5 pounds or so during Christmas. So, in the end, I'll be around 100 pounds.

The yo yo weight thing is not a good idea, and exercise is always a part of a healthy weight lose plan. Try to walk for 10 min after every meal - that isn't a lot to ask.
I once lost 7 lbs in one week when I had to go on a no refined carb diet. No sugar, white flour, white rice or anything with yeast. That is when I realized just how often I had been stuffing cookies and junk in my face. You won't be hungry - just make it whole grain wraps and step up the veggie intake.

It is very POSSIBLE. But it is NOT safe. Plus.. you're 110 pounds. That's like a toothpick. You should check to see if you are UNDERWEIGHT. There is a chart that has your height compared to weight and it will tell you if you are in the right range. I'm a male 6'2 and 180 lbs and i'm underweight. So anyways you probably should if anything gain weight. I hope you dont have an eating disorder, but if you REALLY want to lose weight do it healthily by following these 5 steps to lose 5 lbs in 1 week: IT WORKS. My girlfriend lost 20 lbs doing this.
- Eat 1 full meal of only vegetables each day.
- Drink NO CARBONATED beverages
- Drink tons of water, and then drink some (over a gallon)
- Less carbohydrates. (No potatoes, rice, or pasta at all)
- Take two seperate 20 minute walks per day.
Good luck, and I hope you find the right weight without looking too skinny

I am also 5' 1", 110 pounds, and female, but i am 18 years old. I have realized that it is not about your weight its about how you look, if i gained 5 pounds you really couldnt tell that much, so the same for you. Also it is not heathy b/c you are still growing, you just need to eat your vegetables and stay away from greasy and sweet foods and drink lots of water. Never skip meals b/c if you do your stomach will start thinking that you fat is sugar, so in the end you will gain weight, so eat right and heathy and you will look great at Christmas!

I've heard that about 2 lbs/week is the healthy limit for losing weight. I bet in one month of losing weight in a healthy way will be visible on you and you will like the results. Take it easy! Please do not do anything irresponsible. Most fast diets do not last because they are impractical for daily living anyway.

What is wrong with you people! You are the perfect weight! I wish I was you, I am so skinny, its sick! why do you need to be 100 pounds? 110 is PERFECT for you and I am so jealous, you must be so pretty. I am the same age and I look like I am 9.And no, losing that much in that short of time, NOT HEALTHY (and pretty darn hard)

It is actually not healthy to lose more than 1-2 lbs a week...unfortunately....BUT you would be surprised, if you stay CONSISTANT, you will look AMAZING in about 2 months! Then you can keep it up and rock the beach! Its all about being regular with what you eat and your workouts...I lost 54 lbs...See my before and after picture here http://www.healthandstrength.net It took me about 9 months to lose it all, but I stayed strong and kept on going.
Here is what I did. Hopefully some of these if not all, can help you in your journey...Remember...Its a lifelong commitment to stay healthy
1. NEVER EVER ate sugar. It's a poison that makes us older, sicker, fatter and tired...all things we dont want. Seriously, sugar is the one who does the dirty work in weight gain. Stop eating it all together. You can see my list of ingredients to avoid when shopping here http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweeka.htm...
2. Drink ALOT of water. 2-3 liters a day. The more the merrier! We need about half our body weight in ounces JUST for regular body functions! When you feel thirsty, that means you are already dehydrated and lose brain function. Water flushes toxins from your fat cells and keeps you younger.
3. Exercise!!! So very important. Here http://www.healthandstrength.net/abexe.htm... are my favorite ab exercises. I also do cardio 4-5 days a week for about 30 minutes a time.
4. Eat less. How many calories do you think is in that burger or that plate of fries or in that handful of chips. What about overfilling our plates? If you go here http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweek.htm... I wrote something about saving on calories and losing weight.
5. Go to sleep before 10pm. Your body starts repairing and rebuilding and speeding up weight loss while you sleep only if you sleep at about 10pm. If you are awake and go to bed at 12, you miss out on that very important time.
6. BE POSITIVE. Be thankful every day and love yourself
7. BE CONSISTANT! That I think is the KEY to losing weight. So what if you went a week and only lost a pound...or didnt lose any...KEEP going. DON'T stop. This is a lifelong commitment, so stick to it and one day you will open your eyes and need a new wardrobe!
8. Eat more veggies and skinny friendly foods. I have my list of my top ten foods that I ate to lost weight here http://www.healthandstrength.net/tenfoods.htm...
80% veggies at every meal including breakfast will keep you young and help you lose weight.
Good luck and remember, YOU are the only one who decides what goes into your body. What goes into your body determines how you look, feel and age. So choose wisely

It might be possible, but it's not healthy. At 13, you have a lot of growing to do, Honey. So don't try to lose weight. Or if you do, no more than 5 pounds.

It's a bit much to expect to lose 10lb in two weeks....you'd be setting yourself up for failure. It would not be wise to do anything drastic to lose this amount.
If you try to get exercise daily, eg. brisk walking for 30 minutes or swimming and ate sensibly (1000 cals a day), then 7lb would be the max, though more likely 5 or 6.
You'll be surprised how different your shape will look just by losing this amount.

No, it is not healthy to lose weight unnecssarily. You are not overweight, in fact your weight is more than ideal, so why on earth you feel you need to weigh 95lb is beyond me. I would urge you to think carefully about losing weight and why you feel the need to do so. I'm guessing you have low self esteem and aren't really seeing things clearly. If you absolutely must lose weight, then please don't lose more than 5lb, as you probably won't be able to healthily maintain the lower weight and will just end up yo-yo dieting up and down and that is not good for you. HTH : )

It would be possible to lose weight this fast, but the weight would come back on after you went back to eating normally, and maybe you'd gain a little more. To lose weight fast (as in to make time), you would need to "crash diet", or to sarve yourself and this would make you drop weight quickly. But you'd only have it lost for a short amount of time.
