Make the teacher a scrapbook of all of you. You could each put in special letters of why you think he/she is really special. This way the only things you are paying for is a scrapbook, note paper and film. You could even let some of the other people he/she has taught write notes. This is something that he/she can carry with them forever. It will also remind that that he/she are doing a great job. You can even ask some of the other teachers if they would like to put in something.

Wow, the other people on here have some great ideas for you. I'm a teacher also (also getting married in a couple months). I can tell you this, i would CRY if my kids gave me a scrapbook full of them!! I love all the other ideas, but the scrapbook is something you take your own time to do... that means the world to teachers. I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about.

That's still a lot of money to spend, probably too much! I'm a teacher, and when I got married, I got a lot of special gifts from students that I still treasure - and that was 17 years ago! Some gave crystal - a few bowls, and a pitcher; a figurine of two wedding bears; handmade pottery; handmade glass mugs - anything you choose will be welcomed by her; nice that you think so highly of her.

find out where she's registered and get her something or a few things off that, or you can never go wrong with picture frames. If she's not returning once she gets married get all the kids in the class or classes and have them write her a little note, that way she'll always remember them. I did that for a co-teacher when I taught pre-school, she was leaving and we made her a memory book it was very special to her

That totally depends on your teacher. What does she like? Many women love jewelry and gemstones and you could buy a nice ring or necklace in that price range. Costco has surprisingly good prices/quality. Ask yourself if she wears jewelry, what kind she wears. Some women like rings but wont wear necklaces. Concert/Opera/Theater tickets for her and a friend is also an idea. If she is a big reader find a collectibles bookstore where they have first edition, signed copies. A gift that shows that you know her and what she likes will be the gift that lets her know that she is appreciated. Scratch that! None of these are good gifts for a wedding. I read the description without paying close enough attention to the heading. Sorry!

A present for the bridal bathe is needed. However, while receiving a marriage ceremony invitation, it isn't carved in stone that any person has to deliver yet another, extra formal present; however, so much men and women do. You are visitors of the bride and groom and hence aren't anticipated to deliver a present to the marriage ceremony. Many men and women get this improper and positioned registries in marriage ceremony invites, it is a gigantic breach of correct marriage ceremony etiquette. Registries cross in bathe invites best. After having mentioned this, the weddings I attend are ordinarily loved ones or very near peers and it's my individual want to deliver a bath present and a marriage ceremony present. If you don't want to shop for 2 presents that's wholly as much as you.

My students are coming to my wedding. Even though I have told them that they can get me gifts off my registry, they want to get me something "better." They found it boring that I wanted things for my house even though I love the idea of all new things with my new hubby. Instead, they are getting me -- loudmouths! =) -- a Tiffany charm bracelet. They said they are going to engrave it as well. That gift should fall into your price range. I am very flattered, and to tell you the truth, I feel it is something that I will treasure long after they have graduated and even longer after the blender I want breaks down.
Good luck!

FInd out if she is registered any where. If not, a nice photo frame for her desk woudl be nice. Or, find out what she uses to bring her paper work to and from school. Most teachers have a breifcase or carry bag of some sort. You could get her one, personalized with her new married name.
