how do you know if your parents are listening or tapping the phones?

im trying to talk to my friends or something and im always worried my parents are listening too
i turn up my music really loud then go in my closet so they cant hear me that way, but how do i know if theyr desprerate enough to listen in or record my conversations??

If you are so young that you still live with your parent, you shouldn't be talking about stuff that bad or confidential that they can't hear. Their house, their rules.

Most of what you talk about probably can really wait until you see your friends in person. At the age I'm guessing you are NOTHING is that important. Grow up.

The only way you will know if they are listening is if they start questioning you about what you are saying. You can set them up by agreeing with a friend that you will have a conversation about something that isn't true -- something shocking, like say you're pregnant -- and then watch their reactions to it later. If they don't come out of their chairs, you can rest assured that your conversations are private. I dated a man who recorded his daughter's conversations. She never did figure out how he knew so much and I felt sorry for her. Good luck, hon.

Set a trap. Make up a story then see if they confront you. Or show up at the fictitious event.

try doing only the things that they approve of. they are only looking out for you so you can have a long and productive life. If you are worried about what they would hear then you know that it is probably wrong.
