you know it really depends on the kind of wedding, some are more formal then others. But i would think if you wore this outfit it would be fine! Usually the one ones that wear tuxedos are the people in the wedding party...just do your hair nice and youll be good to go. the only other thing that people usually wear to a reception would be slacks with a nice button down shirt. my boyfriend wore jeans and a nice button down shirt at the last reception we went to and he looked handsome! one last thing...make sure you wear something other then tennies! good luck and remember to have fun!

It depends on the wedding. If this is an informal garden wedding, you MIGHT be able to get away with jeans, and I stress MIGHT. A pair of black pants with a nice sweater/shirt is always a safe bet - unless the invitation calls for White Tie or Black Tie.
Black Tie means - full suit, white shirt, black jacket and tie
White Tie means formal as with Black Tie, but you can have some color (in your shirt, tie, etc)

It all depends, is it formal, business casual, or casual?
If the bride and groom change into casual cloths before the reception by all means go with the jeans.
Dress pants and a button down shirt with a tie handy just in case is always safe.

Depends on what kind of reception it is. Some people choose casual wear, or business casual, while others have formal wear. Contact the bride or the bridegroom and find out what is the attire for the reception.

Unless the wedding reception is being held in a barn, no jeans.
Black pants are always a safe bet.. with your sweater and dress shirt.

Ask the bride and groom what the dress code or level of formality is for their reception. If you can't get in contact with them to be safe wear khakis instead of jeans.
It depends on the reception but don't be shy to ask the bride and groom. They'll be more than happy to clue you in on what they'd like their guests would wear.

Usually dress pants would be best, but if you do not have any and can't afford to get them then go in the best looking outfit you can pull together. It would be OK if the recption is not formal and the jeans are nice looking (not dirty or ripped). You could always try to borrow something from a friend or relative.

Depends on the personalities and plans of the folks holding the wedding. If it is a formal wedding, you must dress accordingly....
Basically, a simple rule is to follow the theme or style of the wedding. Some will have a dressed down wedding, others, folks will be in tux and tails....worst case, double check with your friends.
Blessings!

probably not.
usually a pair of dress pants, either black or grey. with a white or blue dress shirt, and a tie.
it depends on the attire, if everyone else is dressing casual, then a pair of khaki pants and a nice sweater may be OK.
but jeans are almost certainly out of the question.
