some people view it as a house of worship and some people view it as a social club / chance to become the most popular at yet another thing. kill them with kindness or steer clear of them but don't try to usher them out. if everyone will show them unconditional love (isn't that what church is supposed to be about--jesus died for everyone?), maybe they'll eventually get it. on the other side, if everyone seems to be playing along with the popularity contest, maybe you should look for a church that is more like the house of worship that you are looking for!!! best of luck, it sucks when people of faith act like morons.

"Go back to the alter". Obliviously they don't have the Spirit of God within them. They have a "holier than thou" spirit. Just because a person goest to church regularly doesn't mean a thing. You could be sitting next to a devils angel in church. Their whole purpose in being there is to cause trouble with the real sheep of God, and to try to get you off of your focus on Christ and become just like they are....cause you to get angry and a make you act like a sinner. Remember, the tare should grow with the wheat. All you can do is limit your being around, treat them nicely as much as you can, and pray for them. God will do the rest.

I wonder if they are christians at all. You can tell by there fruit and they don't act like christians at all. But some people are selfish because the people around them at home are selfish and they don't know how to act nicely. But I would choose not to be around them and be around other people who are nice and friendly. But Yes if they are bringing the church down and dividing the church and not obeying the church laws talk to your Pastor about what to do with them. He would know best.

Do what Jesus said about people like that. Talk to them alone, get a friend if they won't listen, tell it to the church if they still won't listen and finally kick them out if that doesn't work.

Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

Because they think that they are better than everybody cuz they go to church. What they obviously have not learned in there church is how to behave. Just because you go to church does not give you the right to judge others., and talk behind peoples back. I don't care how often you go to church,THIS IS NOT CHRISTIAN BEHAVIOR.

Christianity, itself, is a type of arrogance. Christians believe that the whole universe with its billion billions of galaxies was all created for a minor subset of the human race hurtling through space on a tiny speck of dust. How much more arrogant can you get than that, especially with no evidence to back up that arrogance?

The Pastor needs to preach a sermon just for them. Jesus' sermon on the mount would be perfect.

well, even christians sin and being rude just happens to be that particular persons, yours could be gossiping or something or another. You can't contradict that person for their sin when you sin yourself. Jesus said he who has never sinned could cast the first stone.
