Hi Aubrey. I am also a Christian going through depression which started right after I went to a witch. I do not know what she did to me but I started having weird symptoms. Ex: a force that pushed me to kill myself, or harm others, feelings that I was going to get crazy, I would laugh like a crazy person and I could not see the image of Jesus Christ at mass. One night I started to pray to Virgin Mary and a glass window fell in my head. If you are possesed you have a very soft possesion. I relate all mental illnesses with a spiritual explanation. Depression, Bi-polar, Schizophrenia, Epilepsy are caused by a spirit attached to the person aura. Nevertheless they are treated with meds that can improve the symptoms. In my case I am taking Zyprexa and Cymbalta that work in the brain neurotrasmiters.

Sometimes, with severe mental illness it can FEEL like you're possessed....it really can. I have felt this way...well I sort of knew that I wasn't but it was like there was a monster inside my head that I was battling with. Very scary. I'm fine now, well at least for the meantime.
It is your mental illness causing you to feel this way. You are obsessing and ruminating all part of the illness.
How to cope with these feelings is more tricky. If it helps, I heard somewhere that you have to invite the devil in otherwise he can't come. Now I'm not religious at all but when I was ill I know that repeating that phrase helped me at least with my monster.
I'm wondering if your meds. need upping or altering and I would speak to your doc. if I were you, you don't need to suffer like this.
But I do promise you this....you are NOT possessed, your mind has latched onto that as a way of explaining the unusual thoughts you're having and as you are a Christian then this is the type of thing that you may fear the most.
Please go see if you can get a little more help to get you through this.
Best wishes

You should talk to your psychiatrist about it because your meds could be off. If you're not on medication, recognize that paranoid depression can make you think you're possessed. You need treatment. If you suspect you have bipolar disorder, get help with that. BP isn't something you can talk yourself out of.
There is no such thing as demonic possession. There may be mentions of it in the Christian Bible, but remember, it was written long ago before humans understood the complexities of brain chemistry. Don't mess around. My guess is that even Jesus would suggest you to talk to your doctor, although it's dangerous to put words in the mouths of others. Still: it's the loving thing to do to take care of your mental health and stop torturing yourself with notions that are totally out of your control.

i think of drugs has come an prolonged way with the aid of fact then and its a stable subject. i'm no longer a huge fan of psychiatrists(exceedingly those in Veterans Affairs), yet even i won't deny that ownership isn't the respond. i'm additionally no longer a huge fan of casually making use of temper stablizing tablets, yet whilst they are rather needed...there is not any question. As Heathen Princess reported, many would have seen me possessed. i'm no longer bipolar, have positioned up aggravating tension ailment. i'm on Effexor to help try against my undesirable thoughts on the subject. My husband additionally has PTSD, some distance worse than mine. i will in basic terms think of what "demons" some would have reported very own him.

I don't think you're demon possessed. I think your paranoia is getting the best of you. I think the reason you can't say "Amen" is just rebellion. You don't want to do it just because someone else tells you you should. So, don't worry about it. IYou don't have to say Amen, you can say, "that's right" or say nothing at all. I hope you're getting help for your mental illness.
If the devil is going to attack someone, it's usually by tempting them, like that pastor of the Megachurch in Colorado Springs. You want to see the work of the devil, that's the kind of work he does. Don't believe all that Hollywood hype that's meant to entertain people with thrills and chills in the movies.
Remember, "Greater is He that is in you (God), than he that is in the world (the devil)."
Take care of yourself.

Pray ... talk to your parents and/or counselor. I believe in demon possession, having witnessed it first hand. Not every mentally ill person is demon possessed, and not everyone in a mental hospital is mentally ill... if you know what I mean.
Our mind can fool us. You said you "might" have bi-polar. People throw labels around who are not professionals. Have you been diagnosed as bi-polar or having paranoid depression?
It sounds to me like you should have a professional evaluation. I wish you well.

Paranoia, and depression can play odd tricks in your thoughts. Trust me on that one. Its a possibility that you may not be able to say amen in your head because of your thoughts of being paranoid. What you should do is tell your therapist/consul er that you are experiencing this. They can help you a great deal. OR if you are extremely religious, or believe that the reason you can not say amen is because of evil, go to your church and tell the priest or whom ever he is.

YES BUT SOMETIMES IT IS OURSELVES THAT KEEP US THERE AND IT HAS MUCH TO DO WITH A PERSONS STATE OF MIND / THINKING YOU SHOULD READ ALL OF THE ANSWERS THAT I GAVE OTHER PEOPLE BY CLICKING ON MY PROFILE, REMEMBER THAT THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS WITHEN YOU!! ASK YOURSELF WHAT THIS MEANS?? you
I have been use deep meditation Cd's that helped to focus, thy cause a bunch of issues to surface though (so be careful and use at your own risk ), i think it is so that you are faced with it and you can overcome the issue, the instructions for the program say to use the Cd's every day but i think that it is only a good idea to do this for the first six weeks of the program and then to use them at your own pace of maybe two or three times a week at least for me anyway, ALSO DON'T TURN THE VOLUME UP VERY LOUD AT ALL WHEN LISTENING TO THE CD'S (when listening to these Cd's you have to use a portable CD player with headphones) the company is called center-point (click on link)http://www.centerpointe.com

Forget about being posessed. 1, its uncommon just because your mentally ill does NOT mean your posessed. It is usually a psychological thing! 2. Stop thinking that you are because your not doing yourself any favours, keep yourself busy. 3. Just because you cant say Amen, it doesnt mean nothing, it simply means you cant say it correctly!! With some practice you will be able to! Theres nothing wrong with you!
