Read good poetry (not mine, mine is not good enough) but some of the modern greats like Larkin, Auden, Yeats, Duffy, Muldoon.

I may not be much of a poet, but I perform other people's poems really well

A spot of mindreading and magic. I'm rubbish so it would get a laugh. Then right at the end I'd fix up and ask someone what the name of their first pet was AFTER writing it down and after putting the pen down. Then I'd show them that it was the same name as on the card. That would leave them with something to think about!

I'd just make funny observations, and i'm very good at making people laugh, mostly cause i'm wierd.
