I traditionally leave everything until the last minute. However, I'm a college student, so I don't really need to do much in the way of decorating or preparing for family to come, except clean a little bit at my parents' house.

As far as finding gifts for people, I've already started looking, though I haven't bought anything yet. Historically, I've waited until the last week or two before Christmas to find gifts, but I'm trying to change that this year.

So I guess, in reality, I'm still slacking, and just claiming I'm attempting to actually do something this year :-P

I'm definitely a last-minute person. I always find myself in the last store open on Christmas Eve with a few people left on my shopping list and a few items left. I've found myself actually getting up early on Christmas Day to wrap gifts!

I tend to do a bit of shopping all year round, as I find things on sale. Then I can't figure out where I "hid" them.

I am no place near "ready". I do have out of state relatives so I prepare for them first and mail a box or two. I put off wrapping gifts for my family til the last minute!

Traditionally I like to get things done ahead of time. I like to eat the last minute rush. Though my sister's and my birthday are before thanksgiving. I usually wait until after Thanksgiving to do CHristmas Shopping. But I'm glad for catalogues cause that's how I do my Christmas shopping usually. I don't like to do the Store shopping thing Unless I have to. The men in the family are the hardest to shop for mainly.

When $ is limited, I find it easier to start earlier. I bought a nice tree over the weekend and could not wait to set it up. So I did. Grand kids love the remote control to change the trees colors and we decorated it with lots and lots of inexpensive toys (new tradition). I found that purchasing one or two gifts every week keeps me caught up and I can avoid the hussle and bussel of crowds and colder weather.

All my gifts are wrapped, the tree is still wrapped in plastic but the decorations are on it, lights too. I am ready.
