My little sister has Pledge orange oil in her hair and it doesn't seem to be coming out with shampoo.

For a perfect shine just spry and wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

Put some olive oil or other vegetable oil then wash. Also don't rub the oil in the scalp because you dont want pledge to be absorbed.Oil her hair then use a old towel to get rid of pledge and repeat then shampoo. I am pretty sure this will do it.

try these two things, either go to the beauty supply store and ask for a clairifying shampoo, (also works to get medicines and chlorine from swimming pools, out of the hair) or if that doesnt work try putting baking soda and water in the hair, leave it in the hair for 15 minutes, then wash it. Hope it works!

Perhaps no worse than hair oil with a glob of glue , happened to me. Sounds real gross if came off with more than 1 thing one after next: vinegar, adult shampoo, and scrub , scrub, scrub DOVE works BEST to take it off, plus it doesn't damage the HAIR

Try mixing your shampoo with baking soda. About one tablespoon with your normal amount of shampoo. This may take once or twice to get it out.

?? yikes! maybe try dish washing liquid. but you may just have to wait it out. when i was a kid i put vaseline in my hair and it didn't come out for about a week.
