Well, you may be overdoing it but i was the same way because i like to have a clean feeling mouth! However, you can actually brush away the enamal on your teeth and cause serious damage to the intergrity of your teeth. I did this and luckily my dentist caught it before it was too bad. He noticed alternating "bands" of color (IE:my teeth were very white but i had places where you could see other shades and it was because i was brushing too much, in effect killing/ decaying the teeth). I try to brush as much as possible but within the limitations my dentist set forth. Also, dont brush really hard adn if you continue to brush as often as you do use a softer toothbrush.

Yes, you are overdoing it and it can have negative effects. Try to brush 2-3 times a day, and floss and use mouth wash once a day.

Totally over doing it. Brush when you get up and brush right before bed. Mouthwash is only needed at lunchtime. Floss at night and after a meal of a lot of stuff in your teeth.

Yes, I think so! Your poor lil' gums! You CAN overbrush, and it's not a good thing, because you end up brushing your gums, which is good in moderation but not 3-5 times a day.
Flossing isn't intended really for food; it's mostly for plaque build up, so once a day for flossing is PLENTY.

Flossing is great, but using mouth wash can dry out your ,outh because it has alcohol in it and kill the good bacteria. Use the mouth wash 1x a day, but I'd only floss 3x a day and NOT use mouth wash so often.

the brushing is good, but you may be overdoing it if you do it 5 times a day with everything else.

i've got continually heard you need to brush your the teeth two times on a regular basis. i might think of something greater suitable than this is basically too a lot. you may relatively be doing greater undesirable than sturdy once you over-brush. i understand when I've brushed my the teeth greater suitable than two times an afternoon my gums experience particularly aggravated/sore this is an illustration i brushed too many cases that day.

You can definitaly do damage by eroding away your tooth enamel! You will start to have VERY sensative teeth like I use to and eating icecream or drinking a iced beverage will be excrushiating!

Too much brushing can actually wear away your tooth enamel. And watch out for the amount of fluoride you're winding up ingesting. Too much can be toxic.
