Tannin in the tea turns teeth yellow

Yes tea consumed in excess does cause brown stains to appear on the teeth, and they can be an ugly sight. Other than tea, coffee and smoking also have the same effect. They can be easily removed by having scaling and polishing done by a dentist. Good luck!
