Try walking neighbor dogs. Buy stuff at garage sales then sell the good stuff on ebay. Get some friends together and wash cars every weekend. Run it like a business. Be reliable and responsible so you get repeat customers.
You shouldn't ask your parents for money to do chores around the house since that is part of your regular responsibility to contribute to the family. However, it is difficult for teenagers to get real jobs yet you can volunteer. So, see if your parents will give you a "salary" for volunteering. They can consider it a donation to a good cause while you learn valuable skills and make friends at the same time. http://www.volunteermatch.org

well this something you can do with your family or your friends or both. gather up old stuff from ur room, your basement, ur atticand your garage and sell it at a yard sell. make sure you advertise and you make even include on ads that the money will go to the vet. This will help encourage people to buy things that they need or want and also just to contribute to the good cause.

do chores for people since its winter if it snow where you are then maybe shovel some snow. If you live in a place like SC where it is still warm mow lawns or rake leaves. Or just ask people what outside chores that needs to be done around your neighbor hood and do those.

Do a fundraiser at your school. Do a fundraiser in your neighborhood. Sell crafts. Sell a talent you have, such as reading or singing to people. Sorry about your dog. :( wish I could help you!
