Hate to say this but i wouldn't have left a 6 month old cat on a night like tonight, your cat will have bonded with you by now and had you been there it would have been far calmer. I have 5 cats and 3 of them were jumpy tonight, so i closed all the curtains, turned the heating up to 24 degrees, got out the radio controlled mouse they like to attack, turned the radio on and played with my babies all night till the racket stopped, the other two were fine, one so much so that he was sat on the shed roof watching the fireworks - hes an odd cat!
The best thing to do for your cat on bonfire night is be no more than 10 feet from it, one of them is curled up on top of my router right now (because its warm) and he's happy as can be.

Mine didn't get sick, but both acted very scared and jumpy when neighbors right across the street were setting them off. I put them in a closed bedroom with some calming music playing. They were able to go to sleep.

I have a 1 1/2 yr old cat that is terrified of certain family members even though he is not around them very often. He shakes and trembles terribly.
So yes, to your answer, your kitty is so terrified of loud noises that he becomes extremely sick. He may get over it with time. Just hold him and tell him it will be ok..

It is totally normal for a cat (or any type of pet) to be scared of startling, loud noises. Some might not be affected, other will be greatly affected, like your little kitty. My dog shakes and cries, also. A lot of animals freak out with fireworks. I wouldn't worry about it.

I know of an adult black cat that is afraid of fireworks, too. He gets under the diningroom table and sits scared stiff. I sat near him the whole time because he looked so scared. This cat is an adult about 6 years old or more.

as quickly as I initiate pouring a bowl of cereal, my cat is familiar with that the milk comes next. She is on me previously I even get the milk out of the refrigerator. I in basic terms supply her a tiny bit considering the fact that i know it incredibly is not any longer sturdy for her. I usually heat it somewhat interior the microwave first and he or she dances at my feet on a similar time because it incredibly is working. as quickly using fact the beeper is going off, she runs to her feeding spot. each and every from time to time she would not even drink it. it style of feels as though she in basic terms likes going interior the process the motions. Gotta love 'em!

Our cat hates them so we give him a sedative that you can buy from the petshop to make them a little sleepy.
You can get them from pets at home store for about £5.00
