any thing you want - buy a cook book

If you don't want to go the cook book route try some of the food websites around. BBC has one also UK TV Food. Good Food Magazine is a good place to look as well. Soups are easy and cheap.A roast chicken (buy free range, more expensive but tastier and the only ethical choice) will give you at least 3 meals, one day roast, next stir-fry or curry then soup with the carcase. A bag of salad with crisp bacon bits, blue cheese and a bit of lemon juice makes a great light lunch with some nice bread.I could go on forever!

Look for frozen veggies already mixed together for stir fries, then just add these to sauteed or stir fried chicken, pork, beef, or shrimp. Add a bit of sauce either from a jar (they make tons of different kinds, and not too $$ since you only need a couple spoonfuls) or mix together some soy sauce, a bit of corn starch, some powdered ginger & garlic. Add a spoonful of honey if you want a different flavour.
Serve over pasta, or rice, or even with a side of mashed or baked potatoes.
There ya go, one easy quick recipe to make many different meals.
