Mary Jane is an old type of candy. They are still made, and yes it is candy.

No, Mary Janes candies are heirloom candies; a very old fashioned candy that was originally made around my Mother's time, and I am 60 years old. I think Mary Janes are about 90 years old.
It is safe to eat if no one has tampered with the wrapping.

Mary Jane's are a caramel type candy that was very popular during the 60's & 70's - I work @ a local hospital & the gift shop sells them there - Yummy!!

You know...i find it sad that a trick or treater knows that Mary Jane is another name for weed....Yes it really is a candy or at least there are some candies that are called Mary Jane...is it like a little yellow square covered candy..cause i think that is what they used to be like...

You silly druggie. Yes, of course there is a candy that goes by the brand name of "Mary Jane". It is now manufactured by NECCO but began as a small homemade candy business and the Mary Jane candy goes back to 1914.

It's just a peanut butter candy that began being made many many years ago. It's safe. The only pieces you really need to be worried about are those that aren't fully wrapped or that appear to have been unwrapped and re-wrapped.
