I have a birth mark on my chest, do you think it would be possible to get a tattoo artist to fill it in with a color that is closer to the rest of the skin on my chest?

I would get a removed but that cost a lot of money.

that is very doubtful. tattoo artists won't tattoo over moles or extremely dark pigmentation in the skin. why? because those are the marks on the body that have the potential to turn into cancer later in life and if you can't see them, the cancer could be over looked. i doubt very seriously if any reputable tattooer would do that for you.

It is possible but matching the color would be the most dificult part. As for if that part of skin would hold the ink in i don't know. If you have health insurance you can talk to a plastic surgeon about getting it done at a hospital.

I don't think they could lighten but don't know for sure why not just pick a design and have a tattoo put on over it

It's possible, but really really hard.

You need to find the right match and everything. I'd say damn near impossible. I would think it saffer to simply get it removed.
