okay, my ex broke up with me a month ago. We never really argued and got along great. She is seeing a therapist because she has been going through alot with her dad dying 4 months ago and taking over the family business. When she broke up with me she said she was sorry and that everything sucked because of her. SHe said that she thought we had really good potential, but that the timing of everything sucked because of her. When she broke up with me I told her that I could not be friends becuase I needed time to get over her. But now I am thinking that friends may be okay and that maybe she would like to her from me every once in awhile, what do you think?

i think u should be her friend that is what she might need most right now dont be selfish and let your feelings ruin a good thing show her that u support her through good times and bad and it will soon come to her attention that u may be what she needs in her life she has just lost the first man to ever be in her life and maybe she scared of losing u so she let u go whatever she is feeling u may never understand but just be there for her she will come around

There's nothing wrong with being friends with ex's once you've gotten over them. Some of my best friends are ex's. Some people you meet for a reason or to learn from.
