If I feel God personally and have a open conversation with Him. What purpose does/should religion have to me ? Isn't religion all about the lack of feeling God ?

You are right. You don't need religion. At the end of the Book of Revelation in the Bible it says that in new heaven and new earth, God lives in the midst of people, and there is no temple.

We can't "feel" God the same way we can't feel people. Our creatour is not some object of charm. He is a real person. He does feelings of the sort that we associate with living people. (John 16:27; Isa. 63:9; 1 Tim. 1:11)
He even have a name: Jehovah. This is why it is important that we use it. Rom. 10:13: “Everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”, Ezek. 39:6: “People will have to know that I am Jehovah.” For Jesus said to his Father: “I have made your name known to them [his true followers] and will make it known.”—John 17:26.

We need some sought of organisation if we are to occomplish what God-JHVH requires of us. After all, He our creatour is organised. (Dan. 7:9, 10; Ps. 103:20, 21) With this in mind through his son, Jesus, He set the example that we too should be organised to accomplish the will of the father. For in times past he did just so with the nation of Israel. (Heb. 1:1, 2)
The same is expected today. There were overseers to take the lead in local congregations, and a central governing body made necessary decisions and helped to coordinate activity. Clearly, Jehovah had brought into existence an organization on earth made up of true Christians.—Acts 14:23; 16:4, 5; Gal. 2:7-10.

Does the Bible show that true Christians would be an organized people? Yes. Niether are they scatted about like the many churches we see today. Only one organising structure should/ would accomplishs such role. (Matt. 7:13, 14, 21-23)

Matt. 24:14; 28:19, 20: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.” “Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them . . . teaching them.” (How would this be accomplished without organization? When Jesus trained his early disciples for this work, He did not simply tell each one to go wherever he desired and to share his faith in whatever way he chose. He trained them, gave them instructions and sent them out in an organized manner. See Luke 8:1; 9:1-6; 10:1-16.)

Heb. 10:24, 25: “Let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as you behold the day drawing near.” (But to where would a person direct interested ones so they could obey this command if there were no organization with regular meetings where they could gather?)

1 Cor. 14:33, 40: “God is a God, not of disorder, but of peace. . . . Let all things take place decently and by arrangement.” (The apostle Paul is here discussing orderly procedure at congregation meetings. Applying this inspired counsel requires respect for organization.)

1 Pet. 2:9, 17: “But you are ‘a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for special possession, that you should declare abroad the excellencies’ of the one that called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. . . . Have love for the whole association of brothers.” (An association of people whose efforts are directed to accomplish a particular work is an organization.)

Religion can be defined as the human recognition of superhuman controlling power and especially of a personal God entitled to obedience.

If you are defining religion as attending church, perhaps Hebrews 10:25 will be helpful:
"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

Do you really think you are so righteous ? I'm not saying it is impossible, but He only spoke to about 5 people in the entire Bible.
Is there a better chance that it is a demon/ Satan's influence ? Ever seen the Emily Rose movie ? I wouldn't be surprised if the first Exocrsit movie was true too. he is powerful, especially over the unrighteous.
He only showed himself to one man in the Bible- Moses, when he went to get the 10 ( and more ) commandments.
Maybe you are on that level, but it's hard to believe.
Good Luck

if you believe GOD exists and it has a grand plan for us then i should say in this point of view, religion is one way to happiness or god. but not the only way. by this religion i mean the classic christianity or budaism or hindoism or islam. but i guess none of them DID make you happy. but since you took your step beyound these common ideas, you should understand that the GOD is the sum of the all feeling we want to feel.all wishes that we want to come true, feeling like connecting to eternity or being mortal or even having eternal knowlege. so feeling the god is the connecting to that source that make you believe this reality or fantasy. in the moment you get connected you will have the endless joy and knowlege. but when you reached that phase, can you explain it to someone else! the religions exist to do that.although all of them failed, becouse they couldnt understand that this phase couldnt be explained or theorised. always people say to me that i am a materialist, but as the mather of fact behind this mask ,i think somehow i managed to get one idea of this phase.i hope you reach it .then you wont ask yourself the question again

The purposes of religion are to appease god and achieve a fellowship with other worshipers. The former is impossible, but the latter is not.

No. Religion is about believing in a God.
The lack thereof is called being an atheist.
God hasn't showed Himself to mankind, but to you, and the others who have chosen to believe.

If that's how you have experienced religion, you have experienced it differently than I have experienced God. I can't tell what your experiences have been, much less make judgements about them.
